For You Today

Dear Beautiful Ones,
There is much love that surrounds each and every one of you today, and every day. Lift up your hearts and take it. It’s all for you. There is nothing that God wouldn’t do for you. You are the ones that make the world a little brighter. Be strong in your praises and do not doubt for a second, for a second can be just enough time for the thorns to poke through. You are radiant and magnificent and each and every one of you merge together to form a perfect piece of the puzzle. Let the divine presence of God continue to shine through you. Let go and allow compassion and kindness to rule your hearts. Step out of the mundane and take giant steps forward. There is nothing to fear. Each and every one of you is growing tremendously and will be taken care of. Trust, trust, trust. There is nothing sweeter than a soul cleansed with love. Be an example of truth and help set others free, no matter how difficult the challenge may be. You are all here for each other and have your own crosses to bear. Every once in a while you get to put the cross down and take a breath, but just like life, you have to pick it back up eventually and keep trudging forward. There is no victory in a selfish life. Use your time wisely and take up a worthy cause. Be charitable in your hearts and share the greatest gift that you’ve been given. The wealth is in your hearts. Let it shine from your eyes. No matter how difficult things might be, keep clear of riffraff and keep going, putting one foot in front of the other. You will be helped along the way. There is nothing God wouldn’t do for you. Rise higher and higher in your vibrational energy and don’t allow the negative trappings of thought stunt your growth. You are positively beautiful, all of you. Each and every one of you are stars, and you light up a whole galaxy with love.  Be transparent in your kindness. Everything is in divine order. Be someone’s shining example of love, not negative challenges. Keep the light in your hearts burning, for there is more to come, so much more. Be the peace that God sent you to be.

     The feelings were deep, and I could feel the pulsing of my blood as it moved throughout my body. On day five of the Vipassana meditation, I somehow managed to move past my skin, muscles, and tissue to see my skeleton for the very first time. It is a shocking reminder that our world is not solid.      Day 1: No talking, no eye contact, no gestures, no mixing with the opposite sex, and no smiling. The rules are strict and designed for us to disengage from others and go within the silence of meditation for 11 hours per day for 10 days. It wasn’t easy concentrating on my breath when my mind wanted to wander, but I managed. A ball of light made its way into the back of my eyelids and colors of purple, green, red, and blue exploded all around me. I felt good and positive with no disturbances. Be strong, aware, and know that you are loved and protected by the light of the holy one. Have faith that the chaos will pass. Remember that this is a journey of peace and it must begin with you. Let go of old misconceptions about life and be an open channel so that you can see with spiritual eyes. Love, faith, forgiveness, and being present are the only ways to get to the truth, the real truth. You are the only one who can make the radical changes necessary to right the earth for all who dwell upon it. You are all connected together by this great universal energy called light. Shadow Dancers of the Keetoowah

     It was dark, hot, and muggy, and I had driven by myself deep into the woods on a dirt road in Oklahoma to find the secret dance. My heart thudded in my chest and my hands gripped the steering wheel. I was trying to find the courage to face the snakes that my delirious mind believed were lurking in the bushes, just waiting for me to step out of the car.      I was in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and had driven there to attend the Cherokee Festival and to meet in person my Cherokee language teacher, Mr. Ed Fields, and his family.      It was a day filled with arts and crafts, food, and lots of activities to entertain the children.
